Heard about the Young Citizens Panel (YCP)?

Who?  Hundreds of young people aged 11-18 living, working or studying in Lewisham.

What?  The opportunity to have your say on how decisions should be made and how money should be spent in the borough.

YCP has been running for 5 years and has achieved a lot, but with your help it can do so much more...

Why?  Crime and safety, leisure facilities and simply whether or not there is enough for young people to do...These are all issues that affect you. If you don't make yourself heard, adults will make the decisions for you.

How?  Questionnaires, web surveys, group discussions, events and the chance to meet like-minded young people like you.

You can join in as much or as little as you like. The YCP is for you and we want to know what you want...

Sound good to you?  If the answer is yes, become a member by filling in a membership form:

Record Turnout as Young People make their voice heard

This year's Young Mayor election was a recorder breaker - with 49 Percent, over 9000 young people voting, the young people of Lewisham have recorded the highest turnout in the entire five year history of the election. It is proof that young people in the borough of Lewisham are committed to making their opinions, their ideas and their voice heard. Next year we will be aiming for 50 % come on Lewisham!
